Altering the db killer and the associated safety welds/screws violates the product’s compliance and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use on the track; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer takes on the responsibility of using the motorcycle solely on the track, without a bag, without a flashlight and without number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to a racing version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.

Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; it can only be done for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
