Modifying the db killer and the associated security welds/screws violates the compliance of the product and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike only on the track, without luggage, without a flashlight, and registration plate holder or other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.

Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
