Altering the db killer and the associated security welds/screws violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
Yes, there is a catalytic converter.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without saddlebags, without a flashlight and number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.

Db killers and removable catalytic converters? altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on the tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
