Altering the db killer and associated security bolts/welds violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike solely on the track, without a luggage rack, flashlight, or license plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to race version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one needing repair; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.

Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
