Altering the db killer and the associated safety welds/screws violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It's recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike only on the track, without bags, without torches and number plate holders or any other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
Furore-X silencer from the Titanium series is made with an oval body, diameter 90mm x 130mm in titanium with a thickness of 0.8mm and an inner perforated INOX tube 0.8mm thick. The ends are conical and painted black, equipped with db killers and specific anchoring support; it's an extremely lightweight item, highly efficient, with a modern design and a deep sound that is not intrusive while respecting legal limits. Hyper Furore has been developed thanks to investments in Moto2 and Moto3 world championships and is one of the new GPR models in the collection.

Adapter and mounting accessories: this kit includes the specific adapter and/or half-collector and the corresponding kit of mounts and accessories, allowing installation without structural modifications.

Removable db killers? altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
