The spools make it quick and easy to mount a paddock rear stand on your bike. The forks must be mounted on the rear stand before the spools can be used. Most bikes have pre-threaded holes in their swingarms to accommodate the coils. Some bikes have uneven swingarms, making the use of coils the only way to safely install a rear stand from paddock.
