Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modification of the motorcycle is needed for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on youtube.
For online purchases, it's necessary to activate the warranty by sending the appropriate stamped coupon from the installation workshop by email to [email protected], The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bag, without flashlight and registration plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to the racing version.
GPR cannot supply a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.

Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code.
