Altering the db killer and the associated safety welds/screws violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
For online purchases, it is necessary to activate the warranty by sending the appropriate coupon stamped by the installation workshop via email to [email protected]. The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle only on the track, without a bag, without a flashlight and no license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version.
GPR cannot provide a new muffler instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.

Removable db killers? altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations on the public road network.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must verify in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each muffler carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email [email protected].
