GPR exhaust compatible with Yamaha WR 400 F 1998-2000, Furore-X Stainless Steel, Approved and legal, complete exhaust system, with removable db killer. Is the product approved? Yes. Is the db killer removable? Altering the db killer and the associated safety welds/screws violates product compliance and makes it illegal for road use. Is there a removable GPR catalyst? No. No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube. The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike only on the track, without saddlebags, flashlight, or license plate holder, or other parts that may conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transition to racing version. GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair. FURORE NERO silencer series, made with a black aluminium body and Avional end caps obtained by CNC machining, painted with a ceramic treatment for high temperatures, elliptical shape 90x120mm. Collector: The specific collector is provided, including flanges, rings, and related support kit; the complete GPR mounts directly to the cylinders without requiring structural modifications. After installation, it may be necessary to remap the control unit. Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is non-compliant with road traffic regulations. ATTENTION: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection. You can use the kit for the official annual inspection. Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the event of incorrect installations. The specific type approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code.
