Is the db killer removable? Altering the db killer and associated security welds/bits violates product compliance and makes it illegal for road use. Is there a removable GPR catalyst? No. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube. The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the bike only on the track, with no bag, flashlight, and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the modification to racing version. GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair. Collector: The specific collector is supplied, including flanges, rings, and the related support kit; the complete GPR mounts directly onto the cylinders without structural modifications, after installation, it may be necessary to remap the control unit. Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations. WARNING: This item is homologated for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection. You can use the kit for the official annual inspection. Recommendations for fitting: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations. The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code.
