Altering the db killer and the associated safety welds/belts violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for on-road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
For online purchases, it is necessary to activate the warranty by sending the appropriate stamped coupon from the installation workshop to [email protected]. The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.

Connection and mounting accessories: this kit includes the specific connector and/or half collector and the corresponding kit of supports and accessories, allowing installation without structural modifications.

Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for mounting: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code.
